A Unique Venue
Looking for a unique and different venue for that special occasion? Look no further we have our Goods Shed for hire and will give you an exciting and very different venue for your function.

Dating back to Victorian times the Goods Shed is a unique and popular venue whether your needs are for private or corporate entertainment.

The flexibility to accommodate numbers up to 150 people will make it an ideal choice for a memorable occasion. You can select a train from our collection and have it shunted into the Goods Shed to use as perhaps the dining area or choose an open wagon and use for extra seating.

We understand that you want to make your event special and the ‘wow-factor’ is very important so why not add to the atmosphere and give your guests a ride on a steam train (or a diesel) for a couple of hours. The enthusiasm and knowledge of the Museum volunteers manning the engine, signal box and crossing adds a dimension of passion and charm, which will delight your guests.

If your event has more than 150 people why not hire our Restoration Shed that can hold up to 500.
Price will be dependant upon the time of the year.
