The Chappel Cider Festival celebrates its 11th year at Chappel in 2010, growing in popularity each year, it is expected to have around 50 different Ciders, Wines and Perrys available.Opening Times are:

Food will be available at all times.
Please be aware that Museum trains do not operate during the Cider Festival, and that this event is operated as a fundraising activity for EARM by CAMRA.

Please be aware that the Museum Reception and Shop will be closed during the Cider Festival and that access to some Museum buildings and exhibits may be limited.

Regular National Express East Anglia trains run to and from Sudbury, Bures and Marks Tey, with connections available at Marks Tey for main line station including Ipswich, Clacton, Colchester, Witham and Chelmsford.
Additional Late Night Train Service
National Express East Anglia will be running an additional late night train in both directions on Friday 11th June (please note the extra service does not run on the Saturday):
16.40 Sudbury to Marks Tey will call additionally at Chappel and Wakes Colne at 16.51 and arrives into Marks Tey at 16.57
22.00 Sudbury to Colchester will terminate at Marks Tey at 22.19. Passengers for Colchester have a connecting service from Marks Tey that will arrive into Colchester at 22.38.
Additional train runs at 22.22 from Marks Tey to Sudbury calling at Chappel and Wakes Colne at 22.29, Bures 22.35 and Sudbury 22.42
Additional train runs from at 22.46 from Sudbury to Colchester calling at Chappel and Wakes Colne 23.00, Marks Tey 23.06 and Colchester 23.15, which also connects at Marks Tey with an additional service for stations to London, this will depart Marks Tey at 23.10, Calling at Witham 23.19, Chelmsford 23.28, Shenfield 23.40, Stratford 23.56 and London Liverpool Street at 00.06
The Museum will make every effort to run the event as advertised, however all events are subject to alteration should unforeseen circumstances occur. This event is operated as a fundraising activity for EARM by CAMRA.
