Visit a Day Out With Thomas at the East Anglian Railway Museum

Saturday 29th to Monday 31st August 2015 - Summer Bank Holiday Weekend.

Admission will include unlimited rides on at least four character trains. Thomas, Daisy, Toby and Henrietta, the Troublesome Trucks with Toad will all be here.

The Fat Controller will be welcoming you and your family plus you can join him for Storytelling time and interactive re-enactments with Thomas and other characters throughout the day.

A variety of activities will also be taking place all day.

The Imagination Station offers a wide range of children‘s activities, from Circus Skills, Punch & Judy, Colouring Competition, engine outline rubbing, playtables with plasticine, temporary Thomas tattoos, reading books and much more.

A real family day out, voted a hit by our visitors as a great time for young and old.

Opening Times

We open at 10.00am, with trains running from 10:30 to 4.30pm.

Event Timetable

Our trains run all day long with no fixed timetable and you can have as many rides as you like, whenever you like.

We run activities throughout the day, including puppet shows, storytelling and interactive enactments.

Interactive enactments run at 11:30 and 14:30, storytelling with the Fat Controller at 13:00 and 15:00 and Punch & Judy shows at 11:00, 12:00, 14:00.


On the door ticket prices are as follows:

Adult: £14
Child (2-15): £10

Children under two are free.

Tickets can be bought online up until the day before the event for a £1.50 discount per ticket.
